The AbbaMIA show includes all the instantly recognisable hits from one of the world’s best selling pop groups. Swedish group ABBA were famous for their combination of catchy song hooks, multiple harmonies, and flamboyant colourful costumes. Keeping the true ABBA spirit alive, the girls from AbbaMIA bring all of this to their fun packed show giving you an evening of entertainment you will never forget.  With tight harmonies, quality hand made costumes, dance routines and even a little Swedish banter.

Your needs are important to us. The sets can be tailored to suit your event and we are happy to discuss your requirements to make your evening a night to remember. AbbaMIA can be booked as a duo or 4 piece band to include Benny and Bjorn.

Gilly - Agnetha

I had been singing for over 10 years before I put the Abba tribute show together - that was back in 2008.  I was asked to perform at an 8 year old's birthday party who loved the Mamma Mia film and so AbbaMIA was born.

I love playing Agnetha and I feel that the show brings that same fun and cheesy vibe that everybody loves about Abba.  We work hard on harmonies and dance routines, and keep it fresh by adding in new songs to the repertoire, I get the costumes hand made and try to replicate the original outfits as best I can.  I love that whatever age group we are singing to (and even those that claim to not love the songs) join in, have fun and dance the night away.  I do believe that Abba is everybody's guilty little pleasure.

In 2020 I moved up to Lincolnshire where I met the lovely Nicola who tookover the role of Frida.  I love her passion for the industry and how she has embraced the role and how her enthusiasm for the show matches mine.

Here's a little bit about Nic ...

Nicola - Frida

Nicola discovered her passion and talent for music at the age of 11 when she joined the school choir.  With her angelic voice it was a given that her first appearance would earn her the solo at Selby Abbey to an audience of 500 performing Walking in the Air from The Snowman.  She went on to join a drama group and took piano and vocal lessons to a grade 8, being able to perform classical numbers in various languages.

She started to perform around Cornwall where she lived at the time, in different venues including local hotels and social clubs, until she moved to Lincolnshire to pursue a career in the fire service where she met her husband and started a family.

Nicola says "after a short break from singing, I am back bigger and better than ever, embarking on my dream job with Gilly singing as part of the fabulous AbbaMIA tribute show."
